MARSHALL, Minn. -- Lynn Mulligan fired a five-over par 77 Friday to tie for fourth and lead the Mavericks into sixth place after the first round of the Southwest Minnesota State Invitational. The second round of the 36-hole event will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Marshall Country Club.
UNO, after a 332 Friday, trails first-place Minnesota State, Mankato by 17 shots. Mulligan, a sophomore from Kansas City, Mo., trailes North Dakota's Liz Koeler by three shots.
