UNO Wins Women's All-Sport Title in NCC

UNO's 10 women's sports, which won two conference titles and finished second five more times, has won the North Central Conference's women's all-sport trophy for a second straight year. UNO finished third in the NCC Cup, combining all men's and women's sports.
The Maverick women's teams won NCC crowns in tennis and soccer and finished second in indoor track and field, volleyball, swimming & diving, softball and outdoor track and field. Additionally, UNO was third in cross country and golf and fourth in basketball.
UNO's four men's sports finished seventh, despite winning the wrestling title and tying for the championship in football. The Mavericks also finished second in baseball and tied for sixth in basketball. No points are awarded if a school does not sponsor a sport.
Minnesota State, Mankato won the men's title and tied with North Dakota for the overall championship.
