Belling Named NCC Outstanding Athlete

Molly Belling of Nebraska-Omaha and Sam Pribyl of South Dakota have been named the Outstanding Athletes for their efforts at the North Central Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships held May 12-13 in Sioux Falls, S.D. The award is voted on by the league's coaches.
Belling, a freshman from Omaha, Neb., won the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes with times of :11.61 and :23.44, respectively.
The time in the 200-meter race set a new NCC record, the only record set in the 2006 women's competition. She was also a member of the first-place 4x100 and the second-place 4x400 meter relay teams for the second-place Mavericks.
