Orzylowski, Belling Get Howard Wood Wins

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Magda Orzylowski won the 400 meter hurdles and Molly Belling edged teammate Laverne Monger to capture the 100-meter dash title Saturday to highlight UNO's showing at the Howard Wood Relays.
Belling's time of 11.67 seconds barely beat Monger's 11.90 at the tape and gave her two wins in the two-day meet. Belling Friday set a school record in winning the 200-meter crown with a time of 23.97.
Orzylowski ran the hurdles in 1:02.05.
The Mavs also had a second-place medal in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 46.73 seconds.
Others to place Saturday included Lisa Lane, fourth in the 100-meter low hurdles; Ashley Yates, fourth in the long jump; Kelli Mertes, fifth in the 1,500-meter run, and Sarah Zeisler, fifth in the 3,000-meter run.
