Wolfe's 79 Leads Mavericks to 4th Place Finish

MARSHALL, Minn. -- Sara Wolfe fired a 79 Sunday and Lynn Mulligan finished tied for 11th, leading the Mavericks to a fourth-place finish in the 13-team Mustang Invitational at the par-72, 5,973-yard Marshall Country Club.
North Dakota won the team title with a 652, nine shots up on UNO, which had a 322 Sunday for a 661 total. Upper Iowa was second at 655 and Augustana third at 658. Upper Iowa's Rochelle Schmidt won the individual championship with a 76-75--151.
Mulligan shot 81 Sunday and carded a 164. Wolfe finished the 36-hole tournament at 165 after her opening 86 and was tied for 13th. Lindsay Newton, with an 82 Sunday, was tied for 16th at 166.
