Mavs Finish 2nd at NCAA Pre-Regional

WAYNE, Neb. -- Junior Kaylen Harris finished third with a time of 22:49 at the NCAA Pre-Regional to help the Mavericks to a second-place team finish in the five-team meet Saturday morning. Augustana won the meet over the 6,000-meter course, followed by UNO, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wayne State.
Mary Margaret Nelson finished 7th, Tahnee Tuenge 11th, Kelli Merters 12th, and Rachel Truckenbrod 31st in the event.
The Mavericks are next in action Oct. 6 at the Coyote Invite in Vermillion, S.D.
