The Mavericks finish off their regular season with home duals against Nebraska Friday at 5:30 p.m. and Northern Iowa on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Records
Nebraska will bring a 6-5 record into the meet at the HPER Pool on the UNO campus. Northern Iowa is 4-8 entering the weekend action.
The Coach
Todd Samland, a 1984 UNO graduate, is in his 10th season as the head coach of the Maverick swimming and diving team. His 2004--05 squad captured the NCC title. Last year, UNO finished second in the NCC meet and sixth in the NCAA II national meet.
On Deck
UNO will be idle until competing in the North Central Conference meet Feb. 21-24 at Grand Forks, N.D. UNO finished second in last year's meet after winning the 2005 title.
