Pinar Saka Named NCC Track Athlete of the Week

UNO sophomore Pinar Saka has been named the North Central Conference's track athlete of the week for her performance last Saturday in the adidas Classic in Lincoln.
Saka, from Istanbul, Turkey, ran the second-fastest time in school history to win the 400-meter dash. Her mark of 54.95 seconds is the third-fastest in NCAA Division II this year and is a provisional qualifying mark for the indoor nationals.
