3 Mavs on NCC 2nd Team; 4 Named to Honor Roll

Three UNO golfers have been named to the all-North Central Conference second team, while four Mavericks earned spots on the commissioner's academic honor roll released Wednesday by the conference office.
Seniors Sara Wolfe and Lindsay Newton and sophomore Erin Ommen were the second-team all-NCC selections, following UNO's third-pace finish in the conference tournament. Wolfe tied for sixth in the meet, while Newton and Ommen each tied for eighth place.
The academic honor roll includes seniors Lynn Mulligan, Wolfe, Newton and Kate O'Dea. Student-athletes earn a spot on the honor roll by maintaining a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average after two full semesters in school as well as competing as an active team-member.
