Runners Head to South Dakota Meet

UNO's cross country team will get its final test before the North Central Conference meet when it travels to the Tim Young Invitational in Vermillion, S.D. The 6,000-meter race will begin at 4 p.m.
This week's meet will also afford a preview of the course that will be used for the Nov. 3 NCAA Division II regional meet.
The Mavericks finished fourth in last week's Jock's Nitch Invitational at Emporia State University, led by senior Kaylen Harris' fourth-place individual finish.
UNO will be idle after this week's competition until running in the Oct. 20 NCC meet in Duluth, Minn.
