Harris Named NCC Runner of the Week

Kaylen Harris has been named the North Central Conference's cross country athlete of the week after last week's performance. The senior from Omaha ran her personal best in capturing the individual title in the Tim Young Invitational.
Harris knocked almost 23 seconds off her personal best in the race at Vermillion, S.D., finishing with a time of 22:27.67 in the 6,000-meter race.
The Mavericks are idle this week before competing in the Oct. 20 NCC championships in Duluth, Minn.
