UNO Finishes 5th in Husker Meet

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Laura Kemp's 13th-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly was the top performance for the Mavericks Sunday as UNO placed fifth inthe Husker Invitational swimming & diving meet at the Devaney Natatorium.
Nebraska won the team title in the six-school meet.
Kemp, a freshman from Omaha, was clocked in 2:18.08 in the race that was won by Nebraska's Kelsey Grushecky. UNO is off until hosting the Mutual of Omaha Invitational Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at the HPER Pool.
