Mavericks Compete in Regional Meet Saturday

The Mavericks will be trying to extend their season Saturday when they compete in the NCAA Division II North Central Regional at the Don Baker Cross Country Course in Vermillion, S.D. Meet time is at 11 a.m.
The top five teams and the top two individuals not on those teams will advance to the NCAA II championship meet Nov. 17 in Joplin, Mo.
UNO is coming off a sixth-place finish in last month's North Central Conference meet in which senior Kaylen Harris finished fifth. The other UNO runners Saturday will be Jana Brons, Tahnee Tuenge, Nicole Nelson and Lisa Tesarek.
