
UNO Wins 3rd Straight Swim Title

Jessica Hessel won two of UNO's six event titles Saturday to clinch the Mavericks' third straight team championship in the Mutual of Omaha Invitational Swimming and Diving Meet at the HPER Pool.
Hessel claimed the title in the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard freestyle events. Lindsey Kline was first in the 500-yard freestyle and Jessica LaFave won the 200-yard butterfly.
In addition, the Mavs' relay teams won the 200-yard individual medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle event.
UNO nearly doubled runner-up Grinnel College in points, finishing with 1,782 to Grinnell's 919.
