UNO Remains in 2nd After Day 2 of NCC Swim Meet

GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- The University of Nebraska at Omaha swimming and diving team remained in second place after the second day of competition at the 2007 North Central Conference Swimming and Diving Championships. The Mavericks trail host North Dakota by 99 points in the eight-team meet.
Lindsey Kline finished in second place in the 500 yard freestyle (5:06.48) to highlight Thursday's action for the Mavericks. Kline also anchored the Mavericks' second-place 800 yard freestyle relay team (7:43.53) which also included Ashley Barna, Lisa Wemhoff, and Katey Howarter.
The 200 yard medley relay team of Jessica LaFave, Jessica Hessel, Carrie Murphy, and Bridget Schram placed third with a time of 1:48.13.
Wemhoff finished fourth in the 50 yard freestyle (23.73). Adrienne Losee placed sixth in the 200 yard individual medley (2:12.07).
The meet will continue through Saturday, Feb. 24.
