Mavericks 10th in National Meet

BOSTON, Mass. -- Molly Belling finished third and LaVerne Monger fifth in the 200-meter dash Saturday to lead the Mavericks into 10th place in the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Meet at the Reggie Lewis Center.
Monger also finished eighth in the 60-meter dash and the 4x400 relay team of Angela Kampschnieder, Karin Clarkson, Pinar Saka and Monger capped the performance with a fourth-place finish final event with a time of 3:43.37.
St. Augustine's won the team championship with 105 points. UNO, with its third consecutive top-10 finish, had 16 points.
LaCheryl Prince, competing in the triple jump, posted a mark of 36-feet, 9-3/4 inches to finish 14th.
Belling ran the 200 in 24.29 and Monger in 24.25 seconds. Monger ran the 60 in 7.68 seconds.
