UNO Finishes Strong, Places 16th

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Three individuals placed and the Maverick 400-yard freestyle relay team capped the day with a 10th-place finish Saturday in the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships. UNO finished 16th in the event, which was won by Drury University.
Lindsey Kline was 11th and Ashley Barna 16th in the 1650-yard freestyle event. Kline posted a time of 17:47.14 and Barna had a time of 18:13.76.
Jessica Hessel was 16th in the 100-yard freestyle with a 53.34 performance.
In the final event of the championships, Lisa Wemhoff, Bridgette Schram, Hessell and Adrienne Losee swam the relay in 3:32.51.
