UNO Tied for 3rd at MSU Meet

WASECA, Minn. -- Lindsay Newton battled the high winds of Lakeside Country Club Saturday to shoot an 82 and lead the Mavericks into third place after the first round of the 36-hole MSU Invitational. The 11-team tournament will conclude with a 9 a.m. shotgun start Sunday.
North Dakota shot a 332 to take the first-round lead with Truman State at 339. UNO shot 344 to forge a three-way tie with Winona State and host Minnesota State, Mankato.
