Mavericks Earn Regional Berth

UNO has received one of six spots in the NCAA II North Regional golf tournament for next week.
The 54-hole, three-day tournament will be played at Sunnyside Country Club in Waterloo, Iowa, April 30-May 2. The top two teams each of four regional tournaments will advance to the NCAA II meet at Stonebrook Golf Club in Pensacola, Fla.

Joining the Mavericks in the regional are Augustana, North Dakota, Truman State, Winona State and Upper Iowa. The Mavericks, the 2006 North Central Conference champions, will be making their sixth straight appearance in a regional tournament.
