UNO Finishes 4th at NCC Outdoor Championships

DULUTH, Minn. -- Sophomore Molly Belling captured both the 100 and 200-meter titles Saturday to lead the University of Nebraska at Omaha track and field team to a fourth place finish at the 2007 North Central Conference Outdoor Championships.
Belling broke her own meet record in the 100 with a time of 11.49, which is the fastest time in the nation this year. She tied the meet record in the 200 with a time of 23.64, the second fastest time this season.
Also capturing NCC titles Saturday were Pinar Saka in the 400 with a time of 55.33, the 4x100 meter relay team of Magda Orzylowski, Belling, Saka, and LaVerne Monger with a time of 46.72 and the 4x400 meter relay team of Saka, Angela Kampschnieder, Jessica Purdy, and Monger who finished in 3:47.10.
