Mavs Finish 16th at NCAA II Outdoor Nationals

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Sophomore Molly Belling earned All-American honors in three separate events to pace the University of Nebraska at Omaha women's track and field team to a 16th place finish at the 2007 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships Saturday at the Irwin Belk Complex.
Belling placed third in the 200-meter dash finals with a time of 23.65. She finished sixth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.62.
The 4x100 relay team of Karin Clarkson, Belling, Pinar Saka, and LaVerne Monger placed fifth in a school record time of 45.24.
Also earning All-American honors Saturday was the 4x400 meter relay team of Clarkson, Angela Kampschnieder, Jessica Purdy, and Monger who finished seventh in 3:45.41.
