Publications Garner 5 "Best in the Nation" Awards

The UNO Sports Information Department earned five Best in the Nation honors by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) for 2006-07 media guides. The department, which includes director Gary Anderson and associate director Steve Field, also earned two fourth-place awards.
The volleyball and soccer media guides each took top honors, while the soccer, football and track guide covers were winners. The football guide and the hockey guide each placed fourth in the competition.
Field is in charge of production and design of the guides. Anderson and graduate assistant Ashley King contributed to the writing and editing of the publications. Photography is by Tim Fitzgerald.
