Ommen's 76 Leads Mavericks at St. Paul

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Erin Ommen fired a four-over par 76 Sunday to lead the Mavericks to their best single round of the year in the opening 18 holes of the Bandana Square Invitational at Tartan Park Golf Course. The 12-team, 36-hole event was halted by darkness and will be completed Monday.
The other Maverick scores included a pair of 78s by Lindsay Newton and Lynn Mulligan and a 79 by Sara Wolfe for a 311 total. Abbey Weldon carded an 81 and Dani Suponchick, competing as an individual, shot an 85.
