Harris, Mavs Finish 4th in ESU Meet

EMPORIA, Kan. -- Kaylen Harris finished fourth and Tahnee Tuenge eighth to lead the Mavericks into the No. 4 spot in the Emporia State University Jock's Nitch Invitational Friday.

Park College won the 13-team meet with 49 points, followed by host Emporia State at 76, Truman State at 92 and UNO at 105.

Harris ran the course in a time of 18:10, behind individual champion Jonel Rossbach of ESU, who recorded a 16:55 winning time.

Tuenge ran the course in 19:19. Other UNO runnners included Janna Brons, 15th, 10:48; Nicole Nelson, 32nd, 20:44.5, and Lisa Tesarek, 46th, 21:33.
