EMPORIA, Kan. – Freshman Kelly Esch finished in 17th place to lead the University of Nebraska at Omaha women's cross country team to a fifth place showing in the 18-team Emporia State University Jock's Nitch Invitational Friday afternoon at Jones Park in Emporia.
The meet, which featured over 130 runners, was won by the Hornets' Katie Mona with a time of 18:13.00.
