Mavs Post 3 Qualifying Times

AZUSA, Calif. -- Sprinters Pinar Saka and Anja Puc and the 4x400 relay team all posted provisional qualifying marks Friday night to highlight the University of Nebraska at Omaha's performance in the Azusa Pacific Invitational Track and Field meet.
The Mavericks continue their West Coast swing Saturday in the Long Beach Invitational.
Saka finished seventh in the 200-meter race with a time of 24.41 seconds in a meet that includes athletes from all NCAA Divisions as well as international competitors. Puc was eighth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 55.41 seconds.
The 4x400-meter relay team of Saka, Puc, Lisa Tesarek and Kayla Koepke was second behind Boise State with a time of 3:51.76. Tesarek was filling in for Molly Belling, who was injured Thursday in practice.
