Puc Prepares for National Meet

Freshman Anja Puc will be the only University of Nebraska at Omaha representative at this week's NCAA Division II outdoor track and field meet.
Puc, a mid-year transfer from Slovenia, will run the 400-meter race in the meet at Walnut, Calif.
The prelims are Thursday at 6:50 p.m. CDT and the finals Saturday at 8:24 p.m.
Puc posted a qualifying time of 55.41 seconds in the event earlier this year, which ranks 12th in Division II. She ran second in the recent North Central Conference outdoor meet.
