Harris Named to NCC All-Academic Team

Senior Kaylen Harris has been named to the 10-member North Central Conference's outdoor track and field all-academic team by a vote of the league's sports information directors.
Harris, a distance runner who also competed on the cross country team, graduated this month summa cum laude with a 4.0 cumulative grade point average in mathematics.
A total of seven Mavericks, including Harris, were also included on the NCC Commissioner's Honor roll. That list includes junior Molly Belling, Harris, junior Kelly Hollmann, sophomore Heather Minssen, junior Pinar Saka, sophomore Lisa Tesarek and sophomore Ashley Yates.
Those on the Honor Roll must have completed at least two full semesters, be an active participant during the season and carry at least a 3.20 GPA.
