Branson, Mo. - The UNO golf team got a round of 72 from junior Erin Ommen to take the early lead in the Drury University Fall Shootout.
Branson, Mo. - The UNO golf team got a round of 72 from junior Erin Ommen to take the early lead in the Drury University Fall Shootout.
When they left the Murder Rock Golf and Country Club, the Mavericks were tied with California University of Pennsylvania and Drury for the lead with a team score of 315. Ommen, a product of Millard North High School, was tied for the individual lead as well. Sophomore Dani Suponchick of Papillion was second on the team after shooting an 80. Abbey Weddle (81), Amy Powell (82) and Rebecca Pollack (86) completed the scoring.
The Mavericks will tee off Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. in the final round of the tournament.
