GRANBURY, Texas - The UNO golf team braved wind and cold temperatures to put itself in fourth place after day one of the Tarleton Coca-Cola Invitational at Harbor Lakes Golf Club. #Dani Suponchick# shot the second best round of the day at 78 to pace the Mavericks to a first round score of 337.
St. Edward's University leads the 17-team tournament with a score of 331. West Texas A&M and host Tarleton State University are tied for second at 335.
Suponchick's round was just one shot off the pace set by Heather Wilbur of Dallas Baptist who shot a 77.
#Erin Ommen# finished round one with an 81, tying her for fifth place. Both #Abbey Weddle and Rebecca Pollock# shot 89 on Monday while #Amy Powell# shot 93.
The Mavericks will conclude the tournament tomorrow morning at 8 a.m.
