Maverick Swimming Hosts Methodist Hospital Triathl

OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO swimming and diving team will host the Methodist Hospital/UNO Women's Triathlon on Saturday, Aug. 29 beginning at 7 a.m. at Wherspann Lake/Chalco Hills Recreation Area. The event is a fundraiser for the Mavericks' upcoming season.
The triathlon is a non-competitive event that does not require rigorous training. Participants will be allowed to determine the length of the swim, bike and run.
Check in begins at 7:00 a.m. with the first group of competitors scheduled to start at 8 a.m. Chalco Hills recreation area is located at 8901 S. 154th St. in Omaha. For more information, click here.
Entry fee for the event is $18. All entries must be postmarked by Aug. 19.
