Methodist Hospital/UNO Women's Triathlon on Tap Fo

OMAHA, Neb. – The UNO swimming and diving team will host the Methodist Hospital/UNO Women's Triathlon on Saturday, Aug. 29 beginning at 8 a.m. So far, more than 450 women have registered for this non-competitive event which will be held at the Wehrspann Lake/Chalco Hills Recreation Area at 8901 S. 154th St. in Omaha.
The event is a fundraiser for the UNO swimming and diving team's upcoming season. Entries will be taken right up until the beginning of the event. The entry fee is $18.
The triathlon is a non-competitive event that does not require rigorous training. Participants will be allowed to determine the length of the swim, bike and run.
Check in begins at 7:00 a.m. with the first group of competitors scheduled to start at 8 a.m.
