Round One Results
MARSHALL, Minn. - The University of Nebraska at Omaha golf team carded a first-round score of 322 and is in fourth place at the 16-team Mustang Invitational hosted by Southwest Minnesota State.
Gustavus and Wisconsin-Eau Claire both turned in first-round scores of 317 and are tied for the lead. Upper Iowa shot a 321, one stroke ahead of UNO and is in third place. The Mavericks have a one-shot lead over Minnesota State and Concordia-St. Paul who turned in team scores of 323.
CSP's Anne Martin and UIU's Jill Preeshl fired first-round scores of 75 and are tied for first.
Sophomore #Rebecca Pollock and senior Abbey Weddle# paced the Mavs and are tied for 12th with first-round scores of 79.
A total of 16 teams and 97 golfers are competing in the tournament.
Final-round action of the Mustang Invite begins tomorrow with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. at the Marshall Golf Club.
