OMAHA, Neb. - #Kayla Koepke# of the UNO track and field team is off to a good start to the indoor season. The junior from Hadar, Neb. ran the fourth-fastest time in the 600-yard dash at the Holiday Inn Invitational at Nebraska last weekend. An indoor All-American last year, Koepke and her teammates are the defending indoor champions in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, and they're aiming for a repeat.

3. What do you do in your free time?
I babysit for a former UNO track runner, volunteer with BigBrothersBigSisters and Senior Help, and I am involved in my church, Candlewood Community Church.
4. Who's your favorite professional athlete and why?
I don't think that I have one.
5. What is your favorite food and why?

I don't think I have one. I just like to run.
8. Where is your favorite place to eat and why?
Grissanti's. I really like Italian food.
9. Where would you go for your dream vacation and why?

It has built and refined my character. I have found out my values and beliefs and what is really important.
