DUNCAN, Okla. - The UNO golf team overcame windy conditions to tie for fourth place after the first round of the Oklahoma Intercollegiate tournament on Monday at the Territory Golf Club. Day two, the final round of the fall season for the Mavericks, is tomorrow.

The Mavs are tied with Central Oklahoma at 314. Tarleton State leads with a first-round score of 304 followed by Northeastern State at 308. Redlands Community College is third at 313 in the 16-team tournament.

#Armana Christianson# led the Mavs with a score of 75 that included a 37 on the front and a 38 on the back. She is tied for fifth overall. #Amy Powell# shot a personal season-low score of 77 that included a 35 on the inward nine to tie for ninth overall.

#Dani Suponchick# was third for the Mavs and tied for 20th with a first-round score of 79. #Ricca Soper and Rebecca Pollock# tied for 46th with identical scores of 83.
