Denson and Dominguez Earn Titles at Daktronics Ope

Daktronics Final Results
BROOKINGS, S.D. – Senior Aaron Denson and junior Esai Dominguez earned first-place finishes at the season-opening Daktronics Open Saturday hosed by South Dakota State University.
Denson captured the title at 184 pounds, going 4-0 to open his senior season. He defeated North Dakota State's John Gusewelle in a fall at 5:50, and then took down Joe Piro in the semi-finals at 2:41. Denson won the final match in a 6-5 decision over NDSU's Kenny Moenkedick to earn his 93rd victory as a Maverick.
Dominguez defeated North Dakota State's Nash Hallfrischand in the semifinals to reach 70 wins in his career on Saturday. He finished 4-0 to earn the title at 149 pounds after winning a 5-4 decision against NDSU's Andre Patselov in the finals.
At 174 pounds, Mark Fiala finished 4-1, good for third.
Josh Keszler competed unattached at 133 pounds and finished 3-1, earning a second-place mark.
