OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO swimming & diving team captured the Mutual of Omaha Invitational title on Saturday at the HPER Pool.
UNO finished with 1,740 points in the team race. Minnesota State-Moorhead finished second with 989 points, and the Colorado Swim Club took third with 626 points.
The Mavs took event titles in the women's 200-yard medley relay, 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard breaststroke and 100-yard freestyle.
The 200-yard medley relay team finished with a time of 1:50.14. Team members included Camille Hansberry, Kylie Rathbone, Colleen Klaiber and Tiesha Scipio.
Kylie Hubbel was the 500-yard freestyle champion with a time of 5:13.30. Maddie Hutt won the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:24.94. Caitlin Hopkins captured the 100-yard freestyle title with a time of 52.34 seconds.
The competition was the last of the month for the Mavs. They don't return to competition in the pool until Jan. 15, when Northern Iowa comes to town.
