OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO swimming and diving team held down third place after day one of the Midwestern Collegiate Championships at HPER Pool on the UNO campus. The first day of the meet included the 1,000 yard freestyle and men's diving.
St. Cloud State led after day one with a score of 74 followed by Minnesota State at 69 and UNO at 54. The University of Colorado swim club was in fourth with seven points.
UNO's #Amy Bechdolt# led the Mavs in the 1,000, finishing second in a time of 10:36.47, three seconds behind winner Marissa Reeve of Minnesota State. #Kylie Hubbell# finished in ninth place at 10:56.24, #Maggie Modlin# clocked in at 11:06.57 for tenth and #Nicole DeBoer# was twelfth at 11:16.12 to round out the scorers for UNO.
Thursday's prelims begin at 10 a.m. with the 200 yard freestyle relay
