UNO Track and Field Moves Up in National Poll

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The UNO track and field team improved its spot in the latest Division II poll released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The Mavericks moved up three spots to 15th, making them the second-highest ranked MIAA team in the poll.
Missouri Southern has the highest ratings among conference teams. The Lions hold down the eighth spot while Central Missouri is ranked 20th and Pittsburg State is 21st.
This is the second week for the Mavericks in the national outdoor rankings.
UNO returns to action this weekend when it competes in the MIAA Outdoor Championship on Saturday and Sunday, May 8 and 9 at Pittsburg State.
