Suponchick Named To All-American Scholar Team

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - UNO golfer #Dani Suponchick# was named to the Division II All-American Scholar Team for the 2009-10 season. The award is presented by the National Golf Coaches Association.
Those student-athletes named to the team must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better and have competed in two-thirds of their team's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the season.
Suponchick finished second in team scoring in 2009-10 with a stroke average of 78.8. She was twice an individual medalist including winning the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association championship with a score of 10-over-par, 154. She also won the Drury University Fall Shootout in September, posting back-to-back career-low rounds of 73 to finish ahead of 96 other golfers. She had five top-10 finishes on the season.
Suponchick is also a member of the MIAA's Academic Honor Roll for the second consecutive season. She is majoring in exercise science.
