The No. 1 UNO wrestling team is back at the Sapp Fieldhouse this weekend for two duals against ranked teams.
UNO (5-1) hosts No. 5 Central Oklahoma (12-3) on Friday, then faces No. 11 UNK (11-2) on Saturday. Both duals start at 7 p.m.
On Friday, ranked battles will occur at 157, 184 and 197 pounds. At 157, George Ivanov (1) and Cory Dauphin (7) will meet; at 184, Aaron Denson (3) will face Tanner Keck (7), and at 197, Matt Baker (8) will square off against the Bronchos' Jarrett Edison (5).
Saturday's dual against UNK features No. 1 Esai Dominguez against No. 2 T.J. Hepburn at 149 pounds. Both wrestlers have 25-3 records. Other ranked battles could occur at 141 and 285 pounds. At 141, Mario Morgan will defend his No. 1 ranking against No. 6 Dalton Jensen. At heavyweight, Taylor Escamilla (8) will take on UNK's Ben Hohensee (4).
Central Oklahoma and UNK wrestled against each other on Thursday in Kearney. UNK won the dual, 21-15, getting wins at 125, 141, 149, 165 and 184.
