EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - The UNO men's golf team shot a final round score of 321 to finish in ninth place at the Southern Illinois-Edwardsville Intercollegiate on Tuesday. It was the Mavericks' final tournament of the fall season.

Host SIUE won the 11-team event with a team score of 893. Missouri State moved up to second with a team total of 900, two strokes ahead of third-place Evansville. UNO posted a score of 960.

Karl Krieser closed with a 76 on Tuesday which was UNO's best round of the tournament. He posted a 54-hole score of 238 which put him in a tie for 35th overall. Mitch Johnson carded an 82 in the final round to finish second for UNO and in a tie for 38th overall with a score of 240.

Michael Shukis also fired an 82 in the final round and finished one stroke behind Johnson at 241 while Taylor Sidzyk had an 81 to finish at 243 and in a tie for 48th overall. Alex Holtan rounded out the scoring for UNO with a three-round score of 249.
