Mavs to Honor Seniors at MIAA Duals on Sunday

MIAA Duals Preview
The No. 1 UNO wrestling team will honor its seniors at the final home duals of this season this Sunday, Feb. 13, as the Mavericks host the MIAA Duals at the Sapp Fieldhouse, beginning at noon.
The Mavericks (8-1) will square off against Truman (3-0), Central Missouri (6-5) and No. 19 Fort Hays State (6-8) in that order. All four teams will face each other once in the round-robin format. There will be two mats used simultaneously. Dual matches begin at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., but the latter two may start earlier if the previous duals end early.
No. 1 Mario Morgan (141), No. 3 Ryan Pankoke (174) and No. 3 Aaron Denson (184) will wrestle for the final time at the Sapp Fieldhouse. In addition, Sim Bribieseca, Josh Heckendorn, Matt Rein and Tait Weatherbee and volunteer assistant Austin Boehm will also be honored as part of senior day.
The Mavericks are 6-0 all-time in the MIAA Duals and have won the event in both 2009 and 2010.
Central Missouri brings one ranked wrestler to the duals, heavyweight No. 8 Brandon Hayes. Fort Hays State boasts four ranked wrestlers, No. 6 Aldon Isenberg (133), No. 5 Andre Harrison (141), No. 8 Mitchell Means (149) and No. 7 Travis Budke (165).
