SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The UNO swimming and diving team completed day three of the 2011 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday, appearing in three events at Palo Alto Natatorium.
The Mavericks' 800 freestyle relay team -- made up of seniors #Laura Kemp and Cait Hopkins#, junior #Colleen Klaiber and freshman Tiesha Scipio# – placed 17th with a time of 7:53.64.
Kemp also took 21st place in the 100-yard breaststroke, clocking in at 1:05.57, while #Kylie Rathbone# finished 17th in the event (1:05.09).
Sophomore Cami Hansberry notched a morning preliminary mark of 59.62 in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing 38th.
Saturday marks the final day of the NCAA Championships, with preliminaries set for 10:30 a.m. and finals starting at 6 p.m. Free live stats and video are available at NCAA.com.
