Mavs Finish But Play at Drury Spring Invite Suspen

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Darkness halted play during the first round of the Drury University Spring Invitational, but it didn't stop the UNO golf team. The Mavericks were one of the early finishers in the 12-team field, posting a team score of 323 after the first 18-holes at the Rivercut Golf Course.
The remainder of the first round will be completed starting at 8 a.m. on Sunday morning followed by the second round.
#Dani Suponchick# led the Mavs in the first round with a score of 77, five over par. #Rebecca Pollock# finished second for UNO with a score of 81, one stroke ahead of #Armana Christianson# who posted an 82.
#Amy Powell carded a score of 83 while Ricca Soper# shot an 84.
The tournament is the second of the week for the Mavericks who are coming off an appearance at a tournament in California on Tuesday.
