Mavericks Seeking Golfers for Inaugural Season

OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO athletic department is seeking male golfers to be a part of its first-ever Division I men's golf team which will begin play in the fall of 2011.
Those students interested playing for UNO should contact Mike Kemp, Associate Athletic Director, at mkemp@unomaha.edu or by phone at (402) 554-2305.
The Mavericks added the men's golf team as part of their reclassifciation to Division I. The university has not had a men's golf team since 1980.
UNO will play a non-conference schedule beginning this fall and then begin play in their new league, The Summit League, in the fall of 2012. A full schedule is currently in the works and will be posted later at omavs.com.
