
Puc Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

OMAHA, Neb. - Sprinter Anja Puc was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Seven first team today. She will now be eligible for Academic All-American status which will be voted on next week.
Puc is a three-time national champ and eight-time USTFCCCA All-American. She owns the UNO 800 meter record indoors (2:07.14) and outdoors (2:03.98). She won the NCAA 800 meter championship indoors and outdoors in 2010 and overcame injuries to finish eighth in the 800 at this year's indoor championship. She was a member of the national championship indoor 4x400 team in 2009.
Puc was the 2011 MIAA champion in 800 m indoors and 2010 MIAA champ in 800 indoors and outdoors. In 2009, she was the outdoor 800 champ.
Puc was a member of the 2010 All-MIAA team indoors and outdoors and the 2011 All-MIAA team indoors.
She has been previously honored as a CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American Third Team member last year. She's also been named to the NTFCCCA All-Academic Team in 2009 and 2010, was a 2009-10 MIAA Scholar Athlete and a member of the 2008-09 MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
