UNO Triathlon Slated for Aug. 25

2012 Triathlon Registration Form/Information Packet
OMAHA, Neb. -- The annual Methodist Hospital/UNO Women's Triathlon benefiting the Maverick swimming & diving program is set for Saturday, Aug. 25.
The event will be held at Wehrspann Lake/Chalco Hills Recreation Area (8901 South 154th Street in Omaha). Check-in begins at 7 a.m., with a mandatory event meeting at 7:50 a.m. The first group of participants will start at 8 a.m.
Competitors will swim 100 yards, bike a two-, four- or six-mile loop and walk or run a half mile, one mile or one a half miles. In base of poor weather conditions, the event may be modified or delayed, but it will not be cancelled.
The non-refundable entry fee is $20 with t-shirt included, and checks may be made payable to the Mav Women Club. Entries must be postmarked by Aug. 15. Late and race-day registration is $30.
