Another freshman made a good first impression on the track. Maddie Buller took third in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.31.
The Mavericks placed three in the top eight of the 60 meter dash. Terri Armstrong took third in a time of 7.87 while Liske was seventh (8.15) and Tschida Johnson (8.35) was eighth.
Dual meet scores were calculated for all the participating teams. The Mavericks edged Oklahoma State, 50-48, while losing to host Kansas State, 95-37.
The Mavericks are off for more than a month. Their next meet is the Holiday Inn Invitational at Nebraska on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 16-17.
