Omaha Heads to Final Day of Championships in Fifth Place

Indianapolis, Ind. – UNO heads into the final day of the Summit League Swimming and Diving Championships in fifth place with 237.5 points.
Senior Madeline Hutt posted a team season-best time in the 100 breast (1:03.75), beating her previous time of 1:04.49 at the Mutual of Omaha Invite. The race landed her in fifth place.
Sophomore Natalie Renshaw clocked Omaha's second best time this season in the 200 free with 1:52.05. Senior Whitney Korgan finished seventh (1:54.02) in the same race.
Freshman Morgan Stepp placed sixth in the 400 IM (4:30.15). Hutt followed her in eighth (4:32.33).
With one day remaining in competition, Denver is in first place with 686.5 points. South Dakota State follows with 365 points. IUPUI is close behind with 340 points. South Dakota sits in fourth (291) place, while UNO is in fifth with 237.5 points. Eastern Illinois (167) and Western Illinois (92) round out the standings.
